TVNZ+ Adds and Subtracts

TVNZ+ has made some last-minute changes to its August slate, including the addition of the film buff’s documentary Kubrick by Kubrick.

The Hollywood Reporter thought the 2020 profile “lucid and perceptive” while Variety observed it was “built around previously unheard audiotaped interviews with Stanley Kubrick [and] captures a director who didn’t like to talk about his films … talking about his films”.

It will stream on the Pulse channel, along with Oceans Apart: Greed, Betrayal and Pacific RugbyThe Russian Five and Return To Gandhi Road.

The premieres that were due to stream on Pulse next month — Busby,The OratarioMy Darling Vivian and You Cannot Kill David Arquette — are expected to resurface in September.

However, F*cking Smart has been pulled indefinitely from OUTtv.

New to Filmstream will be the 2019 French rural comedy Roxane.

I’m really loving Light and Magic on Disney+. It’s absolutely brilliant ?

  2. ILM’s heyday, their current work has been rubbish.
