UFC pay-per-view lands on TVNZ+ – UFC Freedom 250 available now

From today, New Zealanders can purchase UFC Numbered Events via pay-per-view with a TVNZ+ Event Pass, starting with UFC Freedom 250 – a landmark event taking place at the White House live from Washington DC, USA.

UFC Freedom 250 will take place on Monday 15 June from 12pm NZT. TVNZ+ Event Passes for the event are a vailable now to buy, for $44.95.

The TVNZ+ Event Pass gives fans access to UFC Numbered Event main cards. Prelims for UFC Numbered Events and all UFC Fight Nights remain free to watch on TVNZ+, with the majority of events also screening on TVNZ DUKE.

In the main event, the unification for the lightweight strap is on the line as UFC lightweight champion, Ilia Topuria takes on interim UFC lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje.

Former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champ and Brazilian powerhouse, Alex Pereira will face No.1 heavyweight contender, Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight title in the co-main event.

TVNZ’s Head of Sports, Events & Partnerships Melodie Robinson said, “Kiwi audiences have been loving the UFC Fight Nights on TVNZ, so we’re stoked we can now offer the UFC Numbered Event Main Cards for purchase too with a TVNZ+ Event Pass.

“And what a way to kick off, with UFC Freedom 250 – it’s going to be a memorable event!”
