UK Celebrities More Than Match Fit

TVNZ 1’s The Celebrity Chase built its viewership in the core commercial demographics on Wednesday while TVNZ 2’s Lego Masters NZ and Three’s Match Fit: League Legends lost ground.

Chase opened with 54,357 25-54 year-olds at 7.30 and closed with 76,966.

Over the hour it averaged a 20.4 share of this demo (or 63,623 viewers).

Lego Masters opened with 35,335, closed with 26,762 and averaged a 9.3 share (or 28,924).

Match Fit started with the biggest 25-54 viewership — 65,149 — but by 8.30 this had fallen to 51,526 to average a 17.8 share (or 55,353).

The trend was the same in the 18-49 demo, except Chase and Match Fit opened with around 43,500 viewers (18.3 share).

By the end of the hour, Chase had 66,290 and averaged a 21.2 share overall (82.883) while Match Fit had 38,966 and averaged a 16.0 share for its duration (39,927).

Lego Masters opened with a 9.8 share of 18-49s (23,389), closed with a 6.0 share (15,791) and averaged a 7.2 share (18,012) for the slot.

At 8.30, TVNZ 1’s Location Location Location and TVNZ 2’s Taskmaster UK were neck-and-neck, with respective 25-54 shares of 13.8 and 13.1 while Three’s SAS Australia averaged an 11.2 share.

Fortunes changed in the 18-49 demo, when Location dominated (14.6 share) and Taskmaster (11.3 share) trailed SAS (13.1 share).

But TVNZ 2 was tops in both key demos at 9.30, when Send Nudes: Body SOS wiped out its rivals with 15+ shares.
