Whakaata Māori Detours Walker, Reveals Lucky Dip Road Trip
Whakaata Māori has postponed the premiere of After Hours Tari Takeover With Stan Walker All In Album Launch.
The one-off special about Walker’s new album was meant to have aired on Wednesday but now will debut on September 14.
Replacing it will be a repeat of Matariki I Te Po.
Next week also is when Whakaata Māori’s game show Lucky Dip will kick off a 13-town road trip in search of contestants to try their luck at trivial questions, amusing games and challenges.
They just have to answer two pātai (questions) right and choose a ball from the barrel. To get the prize the contestant must successfully complete a challenge. They then get the option to keep the prize or complete a second challenge and choose another.
Anyone who’d like to be part of the audience can book their free tickets through the Eventfinda website here or go to: https://www.eventfinda.co.nz/Lucky Dip On the Road. (You may even win a prize yourself!)
People can also check out the Whakaata Māori Facebook page for event details and a link to book tickets.
