Last Chance to Win Bad Teacher Blu-ray
Entries close 5pm Friday for the Bad Teacher Blu-ray draw. Screenscribe.tv has four Blu-rays of the Special Edition of the wickedly good comedy to give away, thanks to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Cameron Diaz, in her funniest role since There’s Something About Mary, plays an amoral high school teacher who’ll resort to anything to marry a rich man and retire early. Some of the sight gags and punchlines are shockingly crass but the coarseness is leavened by witty characterisations, an A+ cast and sublime textbook chemistry between Diaz and Forgetting Sarah Marshall’s Jason Segel. Jake Kasdan (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story) directs an unexpectedly uproarious yet charming screenplay by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, whose second movie has more in common with the hit sitcom they produce, The Office, than their dismal first feature, Year One. The Office’s Phyllis Smith, Dinner for Schmucks’ Lucy Punch and Justin Timberlake co-star. Extras include an interactive yearbook with outtakes, three making-of shorts, a gag reel, deleted scenes and a clever Way Behind the Scenes ego-sparring spoof between Timberlake and Segel. To enter the draw for Bad Teacher on Blu-ray, email competition@screenscribe.net with the movie’s title in the subject line, and your name and address in the message field (the movie is rated R16 Contains offensive language, drug use and sexual content that may offend). Entry is open to NZ residents only. Good luck!
