Yamaha Receivers on Red Alert

Two Yamaha receivers are the latest one-day specials The Warehouse is promoting on its website.

The parallel imported RX-V2067 is selling from $1,100, which is $2K below the advertised price of the only other NZ online stockist, and the entry model RX-V471 for $600.

The Red Alert promotions follow The Warehouse selling parallel imported Denon and Pioneer receivers for hundreds of dollars below their NZ RRPs.

However, both models have been out for some time. The RX-V2067 was released about two years ago, What Hi-Fi gave it a four-star review in January 2011 and this YouTube review followed in April.

Still, it’s good to see more competitive pricing in an a/v market where US consumers generally have got much better bargains.
